Deidaa Tussar Silk
Deidaa tussar silk has chevron self design. Unlike commercial silk, no silkworm is killed in the making of peace silk or tussar silk. Tribal communities residing in the forests collect the cocoons. This wild silk sustains the environment and the communities. It is strong, because of its jacquard weave. This peace silk’s strength, muted lustre and uneven texture makes it an obvious choice for jackets and coats.
